About us
The Church of St. John the Baptist, Mount Bures is a friendly and welcoming community of people, meeting in our beautiful Grade 1-listed Church building which has been serving the Village since the 12th Century.
Our main service is at 9:15am each Sunday. It lasts about an hour. Most of our services are quite informal, such as our Family Services and Festivals, and we have refreshments afterwards - we try to make sure that every service is suitable for people of all ages and traditions. Whether you pop in occasionally or become more involved, you'll get the same warm welcome!
Many people visit our Church building because of its age and beauty - and it's a lovely venue for weddings.
The Church is open to visitors every day as well as Sundays, and we look forward to welcoming you -
whether to worship with us, for private prayer or to enjoy our beautiful surroundings.
You're welcome!
